By profession, Sister became a degreed registered nurse. With these qualifications, she gave excellent patient care in varied assignments at many health care facilities sponsored by the Congregation throughout Texas, Louisiana, and California, including serving as the Pediatric Supervisor at St. Mary Hospital, Long Beach, California.
